This pontoon-Mercedes with the larger six cylinder engine and S-equipped was delivered new on April 30, 1959 to a company director in Karlstad. Today it’s a very nice car that’s been carefully repainted, good chrome and fantastic interior with professionally upholstered chairs and seats, new carpet and head liner. The wooden panels are also renovated to a very good condition. More additions are Blaupunkt radio, Hella spot lights, stainless steel exhaust system and Clip on white wall tires. The car requires a new inspection/mot.

Facts about the model
W111 was introduced in August 1959 in three versions with different equipment levels and degree of trim of the currently known 2.2-liter sex. The body, divided by the four-cylinder W110, was equipped with panoramic windows and fins . This had been the tallest fashion in the United States in the 1950s , but now made the car feel quite deceived. Therefore, the successor W108 was already announced in August 1965 .
But Mercedes-Benz did not give up the W111 body for it. In July 1965, 230 S was introduced as an entry model to the S-Class . The model was manufactured until January 1968 . Then the later version of Heckflossen disappeared .
