Description
This particular car was imported to Sweden in 1987. As far as we can trace, it has had three owners in Sweden. The current owner purchased the car in October 2007. Between 2010 and 2013, the car was restored to its current condition. During that time, it received a new paint job and was treated underneath. A minor rust issue in the floor was repaired. The engine was thoroughly checked and all maintenance tasks were carried out.
The car is in excellent condition and ready to be enjoyed.
Technical data
Condition
-
Mechanical condition
A technical inspection of the engine was carried out as part of the partial restoration. The entire clutch assembly has been recently replaced. Both the engine and gearbox with overdrive are functioning very well. The brakes have been serviced, although a final bleeding may be required.
The battery has been relocated to the trunk for easier access. All instruments are in working order, except for the newly installed oil temperature gauge, which is not yet connected. An ammeter, matching the style of the other gauges, has been added. A period-correct radio is installed but not connected.
The car comes with extensive documentation and two sets of keys. -
Interior condition
The interior is in excellent condition, featuring gently patinated leather seats. The dashboard and gauges are in good working order. New door panels and rubber seals have been fitted, and the carpets are in great shape.
-
Exterior condition
The paintwork has an incredible shine and has held up well for around 15 years. However, there are a few bubbles at the lower edge of the left door and some on the scuttle panel near the windshield on the right side. The bumpers are in good condition, though the rear one has some minor surface rust spots. Trim, glass, and lighting components are all in good condition.
The car is fitted with 15-inch wire wheels and older tires from 2014, which still have good tread.
The soft top is in good condition overall, with a small repair on the left rear side. -
General condition
This car gives a great overall impression. It feels solid throughout, and the engine and gearbox work together in smooth harmony. A delightful car for summer drives and classic car meets.
