It arrived in Sweden in 2008 and has had the same owner for 15 years. A properly filled out service book testifies to a well-cared-for owner in both Germany and Sweden, where it had covered around 100,000 kilometers at the time of import. The current reading is 144,660 kilometers. The present owner bought the car last summer, had a thorough service and inspection done, and then went on a comfortable trip to Norway, reportedly. Diesel V6 with a delightful torque and a transmission that shifts very smoothly. The chassis feels tight and responsive. The car recently received extensive service including timing belt, water pump, drive belt, serpentine belt, CV joint boots, wiper blades, all filters and oils, as well as discs and brake pads.

Fresh and nice feel in the leather upholstery, controls and steering wheel, as well as in the carpets and headliner. The only visible wear, oddly enough, is on the handles for the front seats' length adjustment.

Appealingly good condition and a lot of car for the money. With a relatively low mileage, a lot of essential service done, and many parts replaced, it feels reasonably safe to engage with a technically innovative luxury car that's over 20 years old.

Fakten zum Modell
The A8 was the first car to be built with the brand's developed aluminum chassis, known as the Audi Space Frame. The technology is still in use, and the model is now in its fourth generation, D5. The A8 has been available with a range of engine options, including the large W12 and the powerful V8s, but the diesel versions might be the most sensible, especially when the Swedish tax rate was somewhat relaxed for later diesel models.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
